So Close to Competency

The Obama administration has been boasting of its prowess with the slogan, "Osama bin Laden is dead, and GM is alive." Oh, so close!

In reality, this administration is precisely backwards in its boast. GM is brain-dead on life support and Osama bin Laden is alive in the hearts of many Islamists.

But the really bad part of this isn't that the Bizarro World Obama administration got it exactly backwards. The really bad part is that they think they saved the American automobile industry by saving their UAW backers and they think they won the War on Terror by killing the one man who planned the September 11, 2001 attacks.

While what the Obama administration has gotten wrong is disturbing enough, what they wrongly and fervently believe they got right is even worse.

I think I'm slipping. Or it's just such a target-rich environment that everyone is taking the shot.
