I have to wonder if the escalating Islamist protests and attacks around Western embassies in Moslem countries (even those NeoCon Germans are on the receiving end) are part of Iran's and Syria's threats to widen the Syria revolt if the West doesn't stop supporting the rebellion.
I have not indication this is so. But Syria is losing their war against the rebels. And as I've long said, Syria needs to do something dramatically different to alter the losing vector.
If this is it, is this all of it or just part of it? Might Assad use chemical weapons in the belief the West is too shocked by the embassy chaos to respond in force?
We're at war. So excuse me for wondering if things that go wrong are part of that war.
