Seeking Justice

The Libyan government has made arrests related to the consulate assault that killed four Americans in Benghazi:

"Four men are in custody and we are interrogating them because they are suspected of helping instigate the events at the US consulate," Wanis Sharif told Reuters.

Hopefully, we have intelligence and special forces guys on the ground looking as well, with those two destroyers we sent to the coast ready to act if the weak Libyan government wants our help (or even if they don't).

UPDATE: We are sending assets:

The U.S. is sending more spies, Marines and drones to Libya, trying to speed the search for those who killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, but the investigation is complicated by a chaotic security picture in the post-revolutionary country and limited American and Libyan intelligence resources.

I assume special forces guys are included with "spies."

UPDATE: Strategypage has more. We have fans in Libya. But the Libyan government is only nominally in control of their territory. They're doing what they can and we have people over there looking for the al Qaeda types who assaulted the consulate and safe house.

At some point, I'm sure some jihadis will blow up when a missile comes out of nowhere.

But the skill of our military and intelligence people won't erase the fact that this administration isn't nearly so skilled.
