I'm sorry, I'm still confused over the so-called "gaffe" of Mitt Romney complaining that our embassy in Cairo was virtually apologizing for our freedom of expression as a mob ran amok outside, even if some nutballs don't like that freedom.
I'm being led to believe that Romney injected politics into the September 11th foreign policy crisis instead of rallying to the president as he reacted to an attack on America that killed four Americans in Benghazi.
If this criticism has any merit, wouldn't Romney have needed to go to Las Vegas to participate in Obama campaign appearances on September 12th?
Why aren't those demanding that Romney rally around the flag in the face of the attack at least insisting that President Obama grasp the flag pole and hold our colors aloft for all our foes to see?
And if Romney's statement was so political and not relevant to the crisis, why did the government retract that embassy statement not long after Romney criticized it?
The day after the September 11, 2012 consulate attack and broader embassy burning decathlon, candidate Obama was only interested in going Forward--not being President Obama.
