I joined Substack. Huzzah. I started it in July to play around with it and get used to it. On August 1, 2024 I went "live" with regular programming.

Anyway, on Blogger I will focus on Winter War of 2022 posts each Monday and Weekend Data Dump each Sunday. The Weekend Data Dump entries will be the source of short posts on Blogger from Tuesday to Saturday.
On Substack I will post new material in longer or priority posts from Tuesday to Friday. On Saturday I will republish an older post from Blogger (I have 22+ years of posts numbering over 20,000) that I think should get some attention. On Sunday I will link to Weekend Data Dump. And on Monday I will link to the latest Winter War of 2022 post.
My motives are two-fold. One, Blogger is old. Who knows how long it will last. So I have an escape hatch on Substack.
And two, Blogger is old. Twitter and other social media killed what was once a fairly thriving TDR. I refused to jump to what seemed like a cesspool of hate and anger there. And statistics are odd. I don't believe the stats that say I get tens of thousands of hits each month. And other statistics have declined dramatically since the pre-Twitter peak during the Golden Age of Blogging. I'm late to Substack. But I shouldn't miss it. And it doesn't seem like a cesspool of hate and anger.
In theory this shouldn't take up much more time than blogging here.
