Japan may not want to reveal their methods to the world where China can gain intelligence, but Japan shared that data with the one country that really matters:
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Monday that the U.S. was briefed by Japan, and quote, "we have satisfied ourselves that it does appear to have happened."
Just as the Chinese are getting cocky about their growing military power, they see us gutting our military even as we loudly proclaim a pivot to face China. Normally, I'd think that is an explosively dangerous mix.
But hey, thank goodness that tide of war is receding, eh? Our president says so. I mean, could a community organizer possibly get that wrong?
