Please. Exempt? That's just a loophole that will be closed. I'm sure that rules are being drafted to require the purchase of "service plans" with every machine bought. And failure to purchase a service plan (or, if you get an exemption from the federal government, a simple extended warranty) will trigger a hefty fine.
