En Garde!

The French vow to increase their air attacks to defeat Khaddafi:

France has championed the international campaign in Libya. President Nicolas Sarkozy met Wednesday with visiting Libyan opposition leader Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, who said he asked France "to intensify the support accorded to the Libyan revolution."

"We will intensify the strikes," Sarkozy responded, according to a presidential aide. The aide was not authorized to be publicly named according to presidential policy.

What with that reported smart bomb shortages, the details of how this is to be done are unclear.

But France will press on, regardless. Having encountered the savoir-faire of the loyalists who thwarted France's pilots, the French discovered in a warehouse outside of Nice several crates of raffiné which is compatible with French aircraft. It's very nice.

Take that, Khaddafi! Soon, the loyalists will be reduced to asking is there someone else up there they can talk to:

Show us the Holy Grail, Khaddafi! We shall take this castle by force!
