Inflation hurts the middle class the most. What the middle class has carefully earned and saved to get a little ahead erodes before their eyes. And income does not keep pace. The higher inflation gets, the worse the impact.
The poor have less to lose and are never far from the government safety net level, anyway, so inflation has less impact. The rich have the means to invest their assets to ride inflation and emerge no worse or even better.
So our massive money-printing and borrowing federal strategy to support higher spending worries me a great deal. Via Instapundit, there are signs of inflation already hitting us. Once begun, an inflation spiral is hard to break.
Have a nice day.
