Funny Piracy News

Dutch Marines fought off Somali pirates:

The Defense Ministry says the marines opened fire early Tuesday on pirates armed with weapons, including a rocket propelled grenade, as the crew of the ship Flintstone took shelter in a safe room. The vessel is used to lay rocks around undersea pipelines.

The ship is called Flintstone? Really? What, was the sister ship Slate in dry dock for repair?

I'd be amused to find this is an entire class of Bedrock ships.

Good for the Dutch, although I wish that instead of just being unable to rule out pirate casualties they'd simply turned the pirate vessel into rubble and removed all doubt.
