"The Yakhont supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles have been delivered to Syria," a military source told the Interfax news agency without disclosing when the shipment was made.
Russia signed a contract reportedly worth at least $300 million (222 million euros) in 2007 to supply its traditional Arab world ally with a large shipment of the cruise missiles.
Add this to the news that Russia might interfere with our supply lines to Afghanistan that go through Russia, and I think we really need to send the Geek Squad to Moscow to check out that button.
UPDATE: Strategypage has more on the missile and also expresses suspicion that some of the missiles are bound for Iran. I thought I mentioned my suspicion. Apparently not.
