High winds flipped over trees and trucks and knocked out power to more than 300,000 California customers before moving inland early Thursday, where schools in a Utah town closed because of 100 mph wind gusts.
Obviously, I blame global warming. It isn't just the fact that they are "high" winds. They are "heavy" winds!
We have more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which obviously is replacing lighter oxygen and other trace gases. Obviously, our air is denser as a result. And denser air hitting stationary objects obviously inflicts more damage. My model (F=MA) confirms it. That science is settled. Carbon dioxide is 1.5 times heavier than air, people! Do the math!
This is science, damn it!
