Strategypage writes that the recent border incident is likely a case of Pakistani forces firing into Afghanistan (as they like to do on both the Afghan and Indian borders in support of their pet jihadis), and they're just really unhappy that they got burned badly. Loudly blame us for everything and their duplicity gets lost in the yelling and shouting.
I'm a grown up. Pakistan is (barely) a net-plus as a nominal friend. So I'm not in favor of cutting off aid.
But they do make their country tough to actually like.
For a country as poor as Pakistan, you'd think they'd try a foreign policy based on something more than how useful they are to others who might help them.
