Yeah. What's the big deal with the September 11, 2012 attacks? So four Americans were killed and we did nothing? So what if an American ambassador was one of the dead? That happens all the time, right?
Who cares if the administration decided to abandon the Americans on the ground rather than interfere with their reelection slogan that boasted that General Motors was alive and Osama bin Laden was dead?
Nah. That monumental intellect from the bay area says it is just a Republican ploy:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Republicans are engaging in “diversion, subterfuge” by continuing to talk about the attack in Benghazi.
“Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi,” Pelosi said to reporters Thursday when asked about a new cache of recently released emails. “Why aren’t we talking about something else?”
Yeah. What about the real issues like a "war on women" or Koch brother donations?
I'd also like to say that given that she was once Speaker of the House, the notion that the entire 435-voting member body can't handle multiple issues at once (that's why they have so many committees and sub-committees!) is just insulting.
Further, those on the left side of the aisle should be wary of claims that our government can't handle multiple things at once. How does that play with the faith in the government's ability to regulate virtually every aspect of our lives (for our own good, naturally)?
I will concede that Pelosi knows something about diversion and subterfuge, however.
