The Obama administration says that after three years of planning for what they claim is a wildly popular program that the system was overwhelmed by the unexpectedly large number of people to visit the web site.

To help the 6-month sign up period the administration has instituted a schedule of sign ups for Obamacare in order to spread out the enormous interest so the system can cope within its capacity to process requests.

Starting today, please login only on the following schedule based on the first two letters of your last name:

Aa-Ad: October 7, 2013-Midnight to Noon.
Ae-Ah: October 7, 2013-Noon to Midnight.
Ai-Al: October 8, 2013-Midnight to Noon.
Am-Ap: October 8, 2013-Noon to Midnight.
Aq-At: October 9, 2013-Midnight to Noon.
Au-Ax: October 9, 2013-Noon to Midnight.
Ay-Bb: October 10, 2013-Midnight to Noon.
Bc-Bf: October 10, 2013-Noon to Midnight.
