It's a strange world we live in.
Of an unspecified virus of unknown origin, two years long and still going.
Of terror attacks by mysteriously undefined people who for some reason yell "Allahu Akbar!"
Of an insurrection without firearms.
Of mostly peaceful protests that leave more than a score dead and billions of dollars in property damage.
Of acting as if Twitter reflects more than the views of a tiny minority of the most extreme Americans.
Of anti-racists who say minorities are forever incapable of success and who must be segregated with their own kind for their own good.
Of believing enforcing criminal laws creates criminals.
Of dog whistles signaling the start of concentration camps.
Of thinking securing our voting right is the same as suppressing voters.
Of calling concerned parents domestic terrorists.
Of identifying as whatever you want and insisting others must go along and affirm you.
Of comedians who work for clapter instead of laughter.
Of bending to tiny but vocal minorities who are offended--or pretend to be offended.
Of mocking questioning science, as if that isn't the process that defines it.
Of American flag officers believing that wokeness is a substitute for victory.
Of actually believing milk is murder.
Of woke M & Ms.
It's madness. And I can't explain it. Unless it is all a plot to drive us to the Metaverse.
But neither will I go along with it.
