This is the Part Where We Find Out if God is Really On Our Side

I see Secretary of State Kerry is heading to Russia to go for the hat trick of diplomatic failure.

Be very afraid:

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, Russia, on Tuesday to discuss Iran, Syria and Ukraine and other issues, the U.S. State Department said on Monday.

I admit I'm unclear on the rules. If you have 3 own goals, is it still a hat trick?

Iran, Syria, and Ukraine are on the agenda? What could go wrong? I'm at least grateful that Kerry's attempt at a Gordie Howe hat trick failed.

The worst Secretary of State ever should not be stressed with negotiating multiple crucial objectives with a man like Putin.

Perhaps they could instead discuss Andorra?

UPDATE: The article headline says Kerry is looking for "flexibility" from Putin:

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry hopes to explore Russia's willingness to curb its involvement in Ukraine and its support for Syria's president at talks on Tuesday with President Vladimir Putin.

Secretary Gumby should remember that his boss is the one who promised to provide flexibility to Putin.

I guess Kerry gave up on the Iran issue already.

So far, Putin--whose people insist they had no role in the cooling of US-Russian relations--shows no interest in doing anything other than trying to win in Ukraine and Syria.

UPDATE: Any Russian flexibility on Ukraine is solely on timing of continued aggression.
