Why Do They Still Hate Us?

In the aftermath of the Garland, Texas jihadi attack, we are scrambling to track even the "marginal" jihadi wannabees who might also attempt to kill innocents:

[Officials] who spoke to ABC News described a “panic” and “crisis” inside the FBI because the agency and the rest of the nation’s homeland security infrastructure are not built to deal with the non-stop flow of homegrown extremists and possible threats that mark the current environment within the U.S.

Is this a change during the Obama administration? Because we haven't had much of a domestic terrorist problem from our Moslem citizens after 9/11. What has changed? Other than leaving Iraq--which supposedly was the reason for young men to sign up with jihadis--and drawing down in Afghanistan (formerly the "good" war for our Democratic brethren), what has radicalized so many to make it a problem to track them closely?

Obviously, the administration will need to upgrade our threat level to Code Pink:

The highest level, Code Pink, is true emergency status meaning "Holy Cr*p, Not Even These Code Pink Hags Will Believe Us If We Say It Isn't Our Fault." This means we've been attacked again and remember that yes, we really are still at war with jihadis.

It's almost like the president's outreach speech to the Islamist world had no effect at all!
