Peace Prize Through Superior Firepower

Yemen has been busy fighting Iranian-backed tribes sheltering jihadi types. The Saudis have been heavily involved at sea and in the air along the border.

Apparently we've been involved, too. This is rather sparse on details:

Adm. Mike Mullen is applauding a military strike in Yemen against suspected members of the al-Qaida terrorist group. ...

The New York Times reported the U.S. provided firepower and other aid to Yemen for the strike this past week against suspected al-Qaida hide-outs and training sites within its borders.

"Provided firepower" is pretty vague. Drones? Missiles? Bombs?

And what other aid?

No doubt there are jihadis in Yemen who need to be killed. As the president noted, there is evil in the world--and in this case some evil got some HE dropped on it.

UPDATE: Ah, we Tomahawked them.

UPDATE: Strategypage has more on the strikes on two al Qaeda camps that we hit and the broader campaign in Yemen.
