I Will Miss This Man

President Bush just doesn't give a damn about our nuanced allies' opinions when they run counter to our interests. And given the sorry record of the Europeans on CO2 emissions as opposed to their sparkling paper promises, who can blame him for this jest?

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."

He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

The article headlines this as reflecting "a joke about his poor record on the environment ". Nonsense. Those G8 sheep rushing to appease global warming fanatics could never pressure President Bush into adopting their hypocritical stance of supporting the global warming movement without actually curbing CO2, and he rubbed it in their faces. Shoot, the average global temperature didn't even budge during the Bush presidency!

The best part is, the Brits and French were shocked. As the saying goes, eff 'em if they can't take a joke!

Hell, it would have been a great line even if delivered in perfectly accented French!
