So why haven't we introduced a resolution in the UN Security Council to authorize international military action against Syria for Assad's many crimes, including chemical weapons use?
Sure, the resolution won't pass since Russia would veto it. But that's the point. We know we can't get UN authorization. Why not at least embarrass Russia by compelling them to openly defend their ally Assad despite the most awful accusations about his barbarous behavior?
Nobody still thinks that "reset" button works, do they?
