Family Values

A fifteen-year-old suicide bomber who died while killing his brother and four others was sent by his al Qaeda father and encouraged by his mother:

"During investigations those five gave confessions, including that the boy's mother told him 'God be with you and we will meet in paradise,'" al-Issawi quoted the suspects as saying.

How delightful. The proud dad sends his own kid. That's a true believer. And a jihadi mother's love is special.

Foreign policy "realists" say we shouldn't worry about the civil war within Islam that seeks to determine whether parents will send their children to school or to murder.

President Bush wants to undermine this Islamofascist ideology before they can get the weapons to match their hatred.

So who is being realistic here?
