Back Off

India is warning China not to interfere in Kashmir against India:

Drawing a dramatic parallel between the territorial red lines of both countries, India on Sunday told China that just as New Delhi had been sensitive to its concerns over the Tibet Autonomous Region and Taiwan, Beijing too should be mindful of Indian sensitivities on Jammu and Kashmir.

I imagine that implicit in this warning is that India could choose to interfere in Taiwan against China if China doesn't back off from Kashmir.

India would gain military advantages from arming Taiwan and getting Taiwanese help in the South China Sea, as I noted in an aside in this post.
