Egyptian TV broadcast warnings for protesters to clear Tahrir Square in Cairo.

I assume that security forces will start pushing people out sometime soon. Will the army participate or continue to hold the perimeter and defend buildings while the paramilitary police do the hard work of pushing back protesters?

Will this be pushing, for that matter, or will firearms be used right off the bat? I'd guess the former, but pushing demonstrators back is exhausting work for police and requires lots of manpower.

Apparently, the security forces are sending the message that you won--now go home.
