Well, the power outage that killed the power at the stadium couldn't spoil today's Michigan-Nebraska game, as Nebraska played us for the first time since joining the Big Ten. I went with Mister, who was nursing a cold but unwilling to miss this game. It was chilly but the rain held off.
The power outage did lead to one delay of game penalty for us because the south scoreboard didn't show the play clock. But fans began counting down at 10 for the Wolverines after that just to make sure. By the second half, power seemed fully restored and the boards were working.
We won 45-17, with a fine display of offense and defense. I honestly can't believe we are 9-2 this year. We could break that bad streak against that team from Ohio next week.
We also had a fly over by 4 F-16s, plus tributes to the armed forces services. Nice touch. And Lloyd Carr was honored today. Cool.
Oh, and I have no idea whose idea it was to put on that Acid Trip Half Time show that our band played. Seriously odd.
