Outreach

I haven't mentioned the explosion at an Iranian base because I had no idea what to make of it other than that a top Revolutionary Guard general was killed.

Ledeen says that the Iranian opposition was behind it.

Seeing a free Iraq may be an inspiration at some level, but the Arab Spring may be having more effect on Persians still under the thumb of dictators. While generally peaceful protests brought down autocrats in Tunisia and Egypt, people had to fight to bring down a tyrant in Libya (with a big assist from the NATO-led campaign). And people are fighting in Syria to bring down a tyrant who still fights back.

Maybe an outreach to those willing to fight the mullahs would be in order.
