Sweet Dreams are Made of This

Ah, reset!

Gen. Nikolai Makarov, chief of the General Staff, pointed at NATO's expansion eastward and said Thursday that the risks for Russia to be pulled into local conflicts have "risen sharply." He added, according to Russian news agencies wires, that "under certain conditions local and regional conflicts may develop into a full-scale war involving nuclear weapons."

With all the difficulty NATO had in subduing Libya this year, the Russians still point to NATO as a threat to Russia and insist some of them want to abuse them. And probably that some of them want to be abused. Truly, their intellect is stunning. But who am I to disagree when they pine to travel the world and the seven seas like they used to.

Russia's desire to rebuild the former Soviet Empire lost when the Warsaw Pact and then the Soviet Union itself dissolved, has taken a great step forward with the reintegration of Paranoiastan into Mother Russia.

From this launching pad, they'll push their borders out. Or try anyway.

These guys are seriously nuts. And they have lots of nuclear weapons.

They don't need a reset--they need medication.
