The destroyer and a supply ship could be on their way to the Syrian coast[.]
I assume the supply ship is carrying arms for Syria. The ships will unload and after some time to get the weapons and ammunition to where Assad wants it, a lot more Syrians will die at the hands of their government.
UPDATE: Interesting. Yesterday I heard the Iranian ships had left the Mediterranean, which seemed to indicate a time in port too brief for unloading anything significantly large. Now I hear that the Iranian ships never made it to a Syrian port--or any port. So what's up? Did the ships drop small arms cargoes to float to Gaza? Did the captains get word that they need to get to home waters ASAP? Or to positions in the Red Sea to be in a position to interdict oil traffic that attempts to bypass Hormuz?
