Palestinian Terrorists Shockingly Commit Terrorist Acts

Hamas is attempting to bombard Israeli civilians. Will Hamas continue long enough to provoke an Israeli invasion?

The most stupid and self-destructive people in the world, the Palestinians, bounce the rubble to hold their title:

Hamas started firing rockets into Israel on Monday, and in response to Tuesday's Israeli airstrikes, launched hundreds more into the country, killing three women and injuring dozens more. One rocket hit a bus in Holon, wounding three people, including a young girl. There have also been reports in cities across Israel of synagogues, Jewish-owned business, and cars owned by Arabs being set on fire.

The media won't remind you of the real aspect of violating rules of war: intent. Hamas is trying to kill Israeli civilians. Israel is trying to kill terrorists trying to kill civilians. And Hamas deliberately puts civilians around their military targets to get ignorant or complicit media to scream about Palestinian casualties. Killing civilians while hitting lawful targets is not necessarily a war crime. Using human shields is absolutely a war crime.

Also, you will get idiotic notions of Israeli violation of "proportionality" in war. Few Israelis are dying because of Israeli actions so that theory holds that Israel should only kill a proportional amount of Palestinians. That is BS. Proportionality means you use the amount of force to achieve objectives. That is, you don't nuke an apartment building because you are taking sniper fire from the building.

Remember that with its Iron Dome defenses Israel can kill the rain for a limited amount of time before it needs to destroy and possibly occupy the launching sites. The defensive missiles are way more expensive and limited than the rockets launched at Israeli civilians.

We've seen this movie before.

The Palestinians get dumb and dumber. And that won't change as long as they have corrupt terrorist rulers who would rather kill their own people to keep their gravy train and stolen foreign aid going. That's who Palestinians should have so-called days of rage over and not the Israelis.

UPDATE: Of course, Hamas can afford to replace those rockets fired now, without waiting for American sanctions to be lifted on Iran so Iran can pay for them. I may have to question who is dumb and who is dumber. The bombs and bombers remain the same.

UPDATE: Fighting Israel to the last Arab:

In Gaza (bordering Egypt and southern Israel), Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the two main Islamic terror groups there and both now financed and supplied (with weapons) by Iran, went to war with Israel. Iran has been openly and covertly calling for this.

But Israel has a problem, as I noted:

Israel knew that its Iron Dome rocket defense system could not stop all of the rockets from hitting populated areas during a large volume attack and Israel would have to accept losses until ground troops could get into Gaza or Lebanon (depending on where the rockets came from) and occupy the rocket storage and launching sites.

We'll see how this unfolds.

UPDATE: Israeli ground troops are involved but have not crossed the border:

Israel Defense Forces tanks and artillery operating at the border fired into Gaza, Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus told ABC News. However, Israeli troops were not operating on the ground in the Palestinian territory, as previously announced by IDF. Conricus said the error was due to a miscommunication between forces operating in Gaza and his media team. There will be a press briefing in the morning to clarify further, he said.

They'll have to go in, no doubt, if Hamas won't stop firing rockets.

UPDATE: Interesting:

Anticipating a ground invasion [by Israel], Hamas sent its elite forces to their defensive tunnels. The Israeli forces instead began to bomb those tunnels and did not cross into Gaza, Israeli officials say.

Did the Israelis goad the Hamas terrorists into seeking shelter in self-dug graves, with tunnel locations known and precision penetrating munitions locked and loaded?

UPDATE: I still don't know if this is more than speculation. But it is kind of basic, really. Think 19th century cavalry that threatens a charge against infantry. That causes that infantry to concentrate and form square. Then your cannons slaughter the densely packed infantry. Bravo for pulling it off if that turns out to be true, of course. But not novel.
