Norks, Nukes, and Dorks

The haircut of evil is born:

Men in North Korea are now required to get the same haircut as their leader Kim Jong-un, it is reported.

The state-sanctioned guidelines were introduced in the capital Pyongyang about two weeks ago, media reports say. It is now being rolled out across the country - although some people have reservations about getting the look.

You thought North Korean nuclear weapons were bad?

There are limits to The Un's authoritay, of course. Given North Korea's poverty and problems with malnutrition and looming starvation, there is no way that Kim can order his subjects to maintain the same weight as him.

Evil is revealed in many ways, big and small.

Tip to National Review Online.

UPDATE: The BBC story was apparently false. An unnamed source cited an unwritten directive. Radio Free Asia went with it and it was picked up.

So Kim Jong-un did not add insult to injury to his male subjects. But the ongoing injury that his rule represents remains.
