President Dmitry Medvedev said last year Russia will retaliate militarily if it does not reach agreement with the United States and NATO. Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov on Thursday went further, raising the ante in the missile defense controversy.
"A decision to use destructive force pre-emptively will be taken if the situation worsens," he said
Really? Russia is threatening to attack NATO to knock out missiles incapable of degrading Russia's nuclear deterrent? This is major league stupid.
Are the Russians unaware that Barack Obama has been restoring our reputation abroad for over three years now? Is there no pleasing these paranoid idiots?
Clearly we need 4 more years of President Obama to continue reset with Russia.
