This is the Part That Always Confuses Me

So when Moslem murderers kill us while they actually or just figuratively scream "Allahu Akbar!" they aren't true Moslems or representative of all Moslems.

Fine. As long as we get to kill the murderers, we can work with that.

But when we try them for murder, we must treat them as true Moslems lest they violate the faith of all Moslems.

After more than eleven years of war, would it be too much to decide if our jihadi enemies are warriors of Islam or thugs who soil the image of Islam?

Or do our enemies get the benefit of the doubt in all circumstances by getting to use either, as convenient?
