Surviving the Blitz

My Jane's email updates has this bit of commentary:


Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and his close advisers appear to be taking the US war rhetoric seriously. However, Khamenei is not preparing his nation to withstand the US militarily, but to simply groom the regime's security forces to cope with the post-attack phase[.]


Interesting that the regime feels it will need to focus on the post-attack phase. I thought an attack would make the regime more secure by rallying the population?

And if the mullahs worry about what happens after a clash with us, all the more reason I hope that our primary method of ending the mullah threat is to end the mullah regime.

Still, given that the Iranians are convinced we are serious about war, you have to admire the mullahs' commitment to clean and green nuclear energy.
