Hot and Bothered

With their Nobel Peace Prize in hand, the IPCC is issuing another report.

And the top UN guy on climate change is on fire:

"Failing to recognize the urgency of this message and act on it would be nothing less that criminally irresponsible" and a direct attack on the world's poorest people, De Boer said.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is to attend the launch of the report, which will provide the factual underpinning for a crucial meeting next month in Bali, Indonesia.

A "crucial" meeting of a UN body? Please. These guys need to get over themselves.

Personally, I think the socialist, economy-killing, no-growth policies that global warmers want to impose on the world's advanced economies will do far more harm to the world's poor than any temperature rise could do.

Although I guess I'll have to be hauled before a Green Court for my criminally irresponsible refusal to believe in the religion of a fiery and wrathful Sun god that believes climate change began in the adminstration of Ronald Reagan.

I'm far more worried about the moon than I am about the Sun.
