Circular Retreat

I am heartily sick of the Left defending President Obama's decision to keep releasing Guantanamo Bay jihadi prisoners by saying Bush did it, too.

One, since when does the Left defend Bush policies?

And two, does nobody remember that Bush released these guys under tremendous pressure from our Left and the international so-called human rights campaigners who opposed "indefinite" (because our enemies won't stop fighting us) detention, wrongly portrayed the prison as a gulag, ignore that this scum deserves imprisonment or worse, and took up the cause of these poor poets behind bars?
