In a further sign of the West's growing mistrust and disapproval of Moscow over its conduct in Ukraine, France said it would not go ahead with the planned delivery of the first of two Mistral helicopter carriers to Russia.
This is serious.
No word on the fate of the 3rd and 4th, which Russia was supposed to build under the contract.
I still think my alternate plan has merit, really.
UPDATE: France is just suspending the delivery for now. So part of the way to go, France, I guess.
