So What Are We Seeing Now?

Well this is effing great:

Sunni rebels from an al Qaeda splinter group overran the Iraqi city of Tikrit on Wednesday and closed in on the biggest oil refinery in the country, making further gains in their rapid military advance against the Shi'ite-led government.

Remember when Vice President Biden said Iraq could be one of the great achievements of the Obama administration?

On Larry King Live last night, Vice President Joe Biden said Iraq "could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."

Given what has happened since 2010, it was looking like Iraq would be the only foreign policy achievements of the Obama administration.

But then we had 4 years of Obama diplomacy to screw up this achievement and put everything at risk, meaning 4,500+ American troops died for nothing if things go belly up.

I swear, these administration best and brightest super geniuses couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel.
