Remember how Democrats hated that President Bush issued signing statements stating how he interpreted the bill he was signing into law?

It almost seems a quaint anachronism like calling in an ambassador to issue a declaration of war, given the President Obama habit of simply issuing executive decrees to change implementation of laws already signed into law.
