Remember that Assad gassed his people and then leveraged a promise not to do that again into close to a year of a ceasefire with us during which we wouldn't do anything to harm our new partner in chemical weapons disarmament. Round two is just as repulsive.
Now we are talking to the Russians about humanitarian ceasefires in Syria. Which means that after Assad has blockaded and starved people he is willing to lift the blockades to let food in to those people.
One shudders to imagine what Kerry will give Assad for this so-called concession.
I will never forgive our president for putting Kerry in charge of our diplomacy. I thought we dodged a bullet in 2004 when Kerry tried to report for duty, but now he is back and he sucks just as badly as I knew he would.
Our allies look for alternatives to our friendship and our enemies wonder just how long their good luck can possibly last.
Is this still called smart diplomacy?
God, I'm really depressed. I totally picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
