I don't think that the Summer Olympics have enough events. Organizers should look into this issue.
I assume this must be true because otherwise it is incomprehensible that NBC is showing heart-warming features about Olympics athletes and families rather than showing sporting events from earlier in the day.
There is no other reason to have any interviews in prime time as long as any women's beach volleyball game has not been shown--twice.
The alternative explanation is that the executives at NBC are no smarter than mossy rocks.
UPDATE: Via Instapundit, here are some former games that could be added--you know, if idiocy isn't the reason we have to sit through interviews instead of sporting events.
