North Korea may be preparing for its third nuclear test, a show of defiance as the United Nations considers new sanctions on the dictatorship for conducting an underground nuclear explosion in May, according to a U.S. government official.
Cool. Light it up, Pillsbury Nuke Boy! As I wrote earlier:
Go ahead. Use up more fissile material. Every test is one less actual warhead you might have to use. If they can actually pull off a non-fizzle. And if they do, maybe the world will finally squeeze the nutjobs enough to die. So as I wrote before their first test, smoke 'em if you've got them.
North Korea doesn't have unlimited nuclear material. Let them use it up testing it.
Maybe if we keep denying we've seen any evidence of a real blast, they'll keep it up.
