A Threat Right Now

As we debate when North Korea becomes a threat to us with long-range nuclear missiles, remember that the South Koreans are already under the gun:

The independent International Crisis Group said the North is believed to have between 2,500 and 5,000 tons of chemical weapons, including mustard gas, phosgene, blood agents and sarin. These weapons can be delivered with ballistic missiles and long-range artillery and are "sufficient to inflict massive civilian casualties on South Korea."

Heck, even without chemical weapons the North Koreans could begin a bloody bombardment with just conventional artillery rounds and rockets from their batteries deployed just over the DMZ.
