Silver Lining?

I'm not happy with the prospect of a stronger European Union. It seems to have lots of anti-democratic features in what can only be described as a Soviet Union Lite.

So can the Euro single currency survive the current financial crisis?

And can the EU survive the nationalism that kills the Euro?
