Shhhhh! Don't Mention the War.

Well, this is disheartening.

I guess the chance to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women is no longer something the victors get to do.





Sure, Conan talks the brave talk. But let him go up against rules and commissions with the full backing of the state. We'll see how much crushing and lamenting-hearing he does.

Although up before the Canadian human rights tribunals, Steyn did get to hear the shrill hectoring of their women. Does that count?

(No offense intended to Canadian women. They tend to be a lovely lot.)
