Training for a Contingency

Anticipating action against Iran, I'm seeing dots everywhere that need connecting.

Here's another dot (Via NRO's the Tank):

Members of the 615th Contingency Response Wing at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., are here conducting a weeklong exercise that will test the unit's ability to set up operations at a seized air field.

Well, that skill might come in handy in certain Iran contingencies.

It is probably just a simple exercise with nothing to do with any real world events. But the news sure is yanking my chain lately concerning Iran.
