Surviving in the Valley of Death

It looks like the Army going to equip one of our heavy brigade's vehicles with Trophy active protection systems.

This is good news for the health of American heavy armor:

The U.S. Army will finally install the Israeli Trophy active protection system on at least some M1A2 Abrams tanks in response to an urgent request.

I assume this will be for a Europe-deployed brigade.

This is most assuredly the start of fully protecting our heavy forces, which are again recognized as needed to fight wars.

The article cited says we have 14 heavy brigades with one more being converted from a lighter unit. I'm pretty sure that number includes units in the Army National Guard and not just the active Army's force.
