Police have arrested three suspected members of al-Qaida who had amassed explosives and may have been plotting attacks in Spain or elsewhere in Europe, Spain's interior minister said Thursday. Two of them had practiced flying light aircraft.
Huh. I thought the Spanish ran from Iraq after the March 11, 2004 Madrid terrorist attacks to prevent such plots?
Oh well. They got 8 years of relative peace, anyway.
Perhaps giving up the Parsley Islands to their rightful Moslem owners will buy a few more years of "peace."
