In Praise of Civility

Ah, civility in public discourse! (Via Instapundit)

Having warned America for so long that right wing dissent (no longer the highest form of patriotism, natch)would lead to this state of affairs, the left tired of waiting and decided to go all in to make their predictions come true in Wisconsin. It's almost like it is a pattern of behavior, or something!

It wouldn't matter if the media didn't have the same assumptions and world view, which leads the press to ignore or explain away this behavior by their side while going worst-case on the right. Oh well. With the entire New York Times going behind the great subscription firewall (recall how much we all missed their name opinion writers when they tried that limited experiment for a while?), perhaps that bias will only be delivered to those already biased.

Notwithstanding my shot at the Times, it is good news that their reporters missing in Libya turned up safe and sound.
