"Those six people should have been arrested and prosecuted for pretending to be terrorists," Gingrich said. "And the crew of the U.S. airplane should have been invited to the White House and congratulated for being correct in the protection of citizens."
I'm glad my first impulse to counter-attack is gathering some support.
If you even say the word "bomb" in an airport you'll be hauled off and possibly prosecuted. But act like you are preparing to seize a plane like it was done on 9/11 and you get to compete for that all too valuable designation as a "victim"? No. No. No.
The airline crew, passengers and US Airways have done the right thing. It is time for our government to do the same.
And what about the airline employee unions and the Airline Passengers Association? Civil law should provide remedies if criminal law cannot.
