It strikes me that the Chinese evacuation of 30,000 citizens who worked in Libya back to China risks putting 30,000 people who witnessed a popular uprising against an authoritarian state back into a country already irritated at government privileges.
Remember that Stalin considered Russian POWs freed from German captivity in 1945 a threat to his regime just for seeing what the West looked like.
I wonder if the evacuated Chinese will be happy with their treatment once back home.
